Since my husband was starting his new job soon (today actually!) and wouldn't have much vacation time once he started, and since we had not had a proper family vacation in a while, we decided to splurge just a little and spend some time at a condo on the beach for a few days. It was so worth it! We went to the beach multiple times each day and it was so nice to be able to go the condo, rinse off and rest before heading out to the water again.
We searched for shells, went for walks, made sand castles, played football, baseball and frisbee, played in the water, read books on the beach, and dug lots of holes in the sand! It was a blast!
We also never left in our car during the entire stay. We made all our meals at the condo, and we enjoyed the beach so much that we never felt the desire to go sightseeing anywhere else. It was truly a "getaway" -so peaceful and a great way to enjoy God's beautiful creation!
